Chikako has always been interested in holistic healing. For a long time she wished that she could do something to help others. She studied Reiki and enjoyed what this energy healing brought to her life and the life of others. When an unexpected turn in her corporate life gave her the opportunity to pursue the dream, without a hesitation, she decided to change her career by studying to become a Holistic Health Practitioner. During the course of study, she was introduced to Reconnective Healing by one of the practitioners. From that point on, her life became full of synchronicity that, one thing after another, she was lead to learn this amazing form of healing. "Once I felt this distinctive and powerful energy, I knew I had to know more. It was completely different from other forms of energy healings that I've experienced." Chikako was trained in Reconnective Healing by Eric Pearl, the founder of The Reconnection.

Chikako has a practice in San Diego and offers Reconnective Healing, The Reconnection, Reiki, Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) Therapies, Therapeutic Massage Therapies, Manual Lymph Drainage Therapy, Massage Cupping (Vacutherapies), Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy, and Adaptive Bodywork. She is fully bilingual in English and Japanese.
